DEEP CREEK HALIBUT
D&M Charters fishes for halibut in lower Central Cook Inlet. You will fish
aboard one of four 28’ heated cabin cruisers with private toilet
facilities and equipped with all the amenities. These vessels comfortably
fishes six people.
 If you have ever fished
for halibut you know how much fun you can have, and in Cook Inlet it is
also work. We therefore use the lightest Penn gear possible to reduce the
wear that heavy gear puts on you. We only travel 8 to 15 miles out and
fish in waters that don’t exceed 150’. We will fish in 250’+ waters, but
only at the clients request. We catch fish that are just as big as the
waters are deep.
We believe in providing you with a memorable experience, one that you
will tell your friends about. We don’t believe in fishing in rough waters,
as nobody goes home and tells their friends what a good time they had if
they got sick or couldn’t even stand up on the deck.
At the end of your trip we will fillet your catch at no charge. We can
also vacuum pack, freeze and ship your catch anywhere in the US at Charter
Boat rates. These rates vary by year but have for the last several years
stayed under .95 cents per pound for vacuum packing and freezing.

How do we do this? We have fished these waters for 25 years.
We don't make you keep fish that you don't want, but you must make
sure that at the end of the trip you have fish. In the unusual
event that you don't catch fish, we will gladly rebook you at no
charge. |
