What to Bring List
1.
Warm clothes i.e.: coat, sweatshirts, flannel shirts, thermal underwear, warm sweaters, warm hats and gloves (I prefer wool fingerless ones). Layering your clothes is recommended since you can always take items off if you get too warm.
2.
Rain gear i.e.: boots, coat w/hood and pants. Alaska gets a lot of rain in the early spring and summer months. Temperatures average from the low 40’s to the low 70’s and everywhere in between.
3.
Cameras and binoculars, (D&M has a pair on board the ORCA and DEBBIE TOO, however you may have a pair you prefer to use.
4.
Lunch (unless your trip is a package that includes lunch), the package lunch supplies one drink only so if you prefer more to drink bring it as well as any additional snacks you may want. We don’t disallow alcohol nor encourage it as it impairs common sense.
5.
Your fishing license with a king stamp if you plan to fish for kings. These may be obtained in any number of places, tackle shops, grocery stores such as Wal-Mart, Carrs/Safeway and Fred Meyer.
6.
If motion sickness is a problem for you, over the counter remedies are available at all the above places, or you may want to obtain a prescription from your family physician before your trip.
7.
Personal items.
8.
If you are coming from a lodge please bring a container to put your catch in. An ice chest/cooler or fish totes.
9.
A sense of humor………
