In August D&M Charters heads for Seward for the Annual
Silver Salmon Derby. Seward is nestled around beautiful Resurrection
Bay. It is in these waters that we fish for the feisty silver salmon.
Keep in mind that this is a Derby and if one person on board purchases
a ticket for the derby all on board must have a ticket as well,
including captain and deckhand. Prizes vary each day and we’re proud
to say we’ve picked up none too few in the recent past. A hefty limit
of six Silver Salmon per person makes this trip well worth it, as do
the Red Snapper, Sea Bass and Ling Cod, that also abound in these
waters. Ask us about a combo Silver Salmon/ bottom fish trip.
Charter prices vary depending on what you want to do. The boat fishes
six people so all bookings are made with everyone in agreement as to
what is being fished for…(silvers and red snapper, ling cod, etc…or
just silvers, just red snapper, or just ling cod, etc…) |
No matter
what you decide to fish for, don’t forget your camera and extra film.
Puffins, seals, otters, orcas, dolphins and a host of other critters make
these waters their home.
